Deleting your account

Delete from the app
In the Lecta app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Once you confirm, your account and all your data are permanently deleted; this cannot be undone.
What is deleted
All personal data and content associated with your account — your saves, notes, collections, reactions, follow relationships, profile information, and your phone number (if provided) — are irreversibly deleted. Only records we are legally required to keep (if any) may be retained for the applicable retention periods.
If you cannot access the app
If you cannot sign in, you can request deletion by emailing hello@getlecta.app. After we verify that you own the account, we will delete your account and data.
How long it takes
Deletion from within the app is immediate. Requests received by email are completed within 30 days at most, after identity verification.
